Experience with Primal Diet

I am someone who has lived in LA for 10 years and have been intimately close with the primal diet as well as many of its followers. The initial results that people attain on the diet can be profound, like your post says. My chronic fatigue, insomnia, chronic skinnyness began disappearing the moment I started eating raw beef and raw fish. Why is it that no doctor or nutritionist aside from Aajonus knows that there can be benefits of raw meats and dairy??? Over a period of almost a year, my health got stronger, I gained much needed weight (I am 5'10" and weighted 125lbs before the primal diet) and decade old health issues disappeared. Many of my friends began eating the primal way also, most with mild to strong positive results for a period of time. However, like the previous post says, I too developed problems (bloating) not to mention the social life one deprives themself of not eating cooked foods with friends and alienating oneself when hiding from others due to all the raw meat consumption. But I did not have any anger issues or other strange behaviour (as your post suggests), rather I was more grounded and more focused and my family noticed how much more relaxed I was when I put on weight and slept better.
Anyway, after developing problems on the primal diet with bloating and indigestion, I now, eat a balanced diet of cooked and raw foods and no longer attempt a fanatical approach. (by the way, not even vegan or vegetarian nutritionists have been able to put me on a animal-free diet with any success (ie: I immediately lose weight, muscle mass and strength)).
The real problem with the primal diet is the foundation which has people believe they are toxic and only thru following the primal diet for 20 or 30 years will they be healed. Aajonus is the poster-child of that philosophy, but even after 20 years or more on the diet, he has had health problems himself (that he says is 'detox'). This philosophy makes followers force the diet upon themselves even when health issues arise as a result of the primal diet, they think it is 'detox' rather than out-of-balance.
Nowadays, as I see and speak to the multitudes of people who buy the primal foods at a shop in Venice, most are not on the diet 100%, even the former hard core primal dieters have made adjustments and departed from believing that deviations from the primal diet is bad.
I find it curious why Aajonus travels overseas so much to promote his diet - I think because in the LA area, it has fallen out of favor and his following has diminished quite a lot.
In my opinion, Aajonus has a beautiful message of eating organic and fresh foods but the attitude that we are all toxic unless we follow the primal diet is unfounded and whether it is 1 month or 1 year or 1 decade later, most everyone develops major problems. It is sad to see those people cling to the notion that it is just a 'detox', when in fact it is their body telling them 'enough is enough'. Of course the killing of animals is negative and if I could be vegetarian and stay healthy, I would.
While the idea of raw dairy and raw organic meats can have some health benefits, we must admit it is not very sustainable from a global perspective. the amount of resources it takes to raise the organic meats is enormous.
I think your post takes the idea of 'karma' too far. I have met energy healers who advise their patients to eat raw beef once in a while as it can actually strengthen their aura - as some people simply cannot acquire the protein their body needs from vegetarian diets. (keep in mind I have had fanatical vegetarian nutrionists instruct me not to be vegetarian and instruct me to eat meat to stay healthy. And if you look at the killing of sentient beings, then even vegetarian diets kill insects and animals in the fields where fruits and veggies are harvested. may all beings benefit
